The Science Fiction Fantasy Federation (or SF³ - pronounced "SF Cubed") is one of North Carolina's oldest science fiction and fantasy fan groups. Our membership includes students and alumni, as well as other individuals from the community.

Our members participate in nearly all aspects of SF fandom. Over the years, one of our most visible efforts has been our long running science fiction convention, Stellarcon. Other conventions that our organization has been involved with include HexaCon, Another Con and CharityCon.

If you like science fiction, fantasy, anime or gaming, chances are you can find a "kindred spirit" at SF³.

Nomination will beign next week, April 16^th for the Voting which will be held on April 23^rd. Please begin considering people you would like to nominate for positions. Nominations will be for all positions for next semester.




Book requirements:
1. 3rd edition or later Dungeons and Dragons specifically not just d20 system
2. Published by WoTC
3. Check for any Errata or updates, if it looks broken "cough” shape change” cough" it may have been changed
4. There is no rule 8
5. There are some things in the DMG that are traps not gear have back ups if they should not be held by characters
6. Banned: Vow of Poverty, Mirror of Opposition, 9th level spells from items and for simplicities sake Unearthed Arcana
7. Brackets are 5th, 10th and 15th level
9. Your stats are 18, 16, 15, 14, 12, 10
10. You go into the arena alone nothing with character lvls comes with you, animal companions and familiar type creatures are fine
11. You go into the arena in with full hit points and no diseases or poisons in your system from previous fights
12. Rule 4 is a lie
13. Items are restored between fights, stolen goods are returned, broken gear repaired and consumables replaced
14. players start 50/75/100ft apart at 5/10/15th level, if you can't reach your opponent on round 1 you aren't trying hard enough
15. You lose when you are adequately incapacitated, this means destroyed, knocked unconscious, killed, soul jarred or if you leave the battle ground (pocket dimensions with open entrances and plane shifting for the purposes of immediate teleportation, shadow dancer, are fine) if we have to look for you on an orrery of the planes you lost the match.
